Eagle Swim Update
August 13th, 2019
Awesome Tryouts tonight Mustangs! We are on the verge of breaking a State record for having the largest swim team ever in Idaho (Okay, that is unofficial, but almost certainly true!) The numbers are staggering - with 15+ new Freshman, 9-10 new Sophomores and 6-7 brand new Juniors/Seniors joining an already huge and successful Mustang team. This presents a challenge of course - with limited lanes to swim at the Y. We will have final numbers soon - but it is crazy to think what Eagle Swim has grown into. We are certain to be one of the largest athletic teams in the entire State.
We plan to have preliminary JV and Varsity Rosters issued by Wednesday at 12:00pm (so swimmers will know which practice to attend Wednesday night). Please keep in mind 6-10 swimmers were unable to attend tryouts tonight so the team rosters will not be finalized for a few more days after the final swimmers tryout Wednesday night.
**** FEE's: Please pay Eagle High School directly. $290 is the total cost, and Physicals are required to be turned into the School trainer - for all incoming Freshmen, Juniors and new to the District Athletes (moved here OR are a sophomore/Senior and playing sports for the first time).

Team Party!
For now - let's have a great time getting to know each other Tuesday afternoon.
- Tuesday, August 13th from 3-6pm at Coach John (and Marcie Carter's) home.
Potluck:
Last name A-E: Please bring a side (salad, chips, fruit, etc)
Last name: F-J: Please bring plates, plastic utensils or water bottles
Last name K-N: Please bring a dessert
Last name O-Z Please bring main dish (bucket of chicken, pizza, casserole, etc)
Bring: Swimsuit, Towel, Casual clothes, and be ready for a relaxing good time with your Mustang teammates and Coaches. It's a great way to kick off the season and get to know your teammates before school starts. We will have the annual Mustang egg toss contest and also work on a Team Cheer!
